Defence Properties Finland is a major buyer of construction management and property services in Finland. We are responsible for Finnish Defence Administration properties, their maintenance and for arranging related services. We are part of Senate Group, one of the largest public procurement organisations in Finland.

Our procurements are responsible and we know our partners

Defence Properties Finland’s procurements include construction contracts and design services for investment projects, as well as services and goods for the maintenance, servicing and repair of properties for all security situations. Our procurement principles are performance, systematism, responsibility, security and safety, preparedness and readiness. Our procurements take into account statutory and financial obligations, sustainable environmental and energy solutions as well as the principles of corporate social responsibility.

We aim to improve procurement performance, in particular by increasing the willingness to bid. We do this, for example, by making it easier to participate in competitive tendering and by increasing market dialogue.

Handi, the electronic order and invoice processing system, is also used by our designated partners who make procurements for investment projects on behalf of Defence Properties Finland.

Billing instructions

Defence Properties Finland handles purchase invoices electronically in the Handi electronic order and invoice processing system managed by Senate Properties. Invoices must be made in accordance with our billing instructions.
